TBS Dynalap diamond is a extremely uniform precision coating applied to 3mil or 5 mil polyester film. That is comprised of a unique resin system with a superior made metal bond diamond powder with a blocky shape and a narrow particle size distribution, which produces a very flexible and flat consistent product which is a excellent choice for your super finishing need which can be used in a wet or dry process it is available in two different types of product and range of micron sizes.

Our Diamond/ Aluminum oxide super finishing films systems provide a more consistent and predictable finish over the entire length of a roll or cylinder, and is more economical then bonded wheel systems. A fully self contained Super finisher unit using TBS Dynalap product line of micro-abrasive can be mounted on any lathe or roll grinding machine can help reduce time and cost of finishing roll surface and increase the consistency and quality of the surface that is simply not found in conventional bonded wheel systems.

TBS products are used in a vast amount of roll finishing
Paper mill, Steel mill, Rubber, Rotogravure, Plastic, Ceramic, Carbide, Specialty coated and rare metal rolls
Standard Products are available with 3 mil polyester films and standard paper base “C” wet/dry and foam backing available. Both 3 mil film and paper backs are available with a pressure sensitive adhesive (P.S.A.) applied available on sheet and disks only. Above products can be converted in the following forms.

  1. Disks (1” through 12” diameters) also available in millimeters sizes
  2. Sheets up to 13” in width
  3. Rolls from (0.150” through 13” width) 50 feet minimum length

Rolls are put up on standard cores 1” and 3” I.D.
Also available in 2, 5, & 7 mil polyester film by special order.

Diamond and aluminum oxide are color coded for easy identification. Abrasive types and micron sizes, and mil thickness other then those mentioned in the above chart are available by special order.
